J3yblivion
So , I accidentally used a player.modav instead of a player.setav command because I wanted to get to somewhere fasterand now i cannot change the speed that I am at back to the original speed. Is there anything I can do after typing a "player.modav speedmult <amount>" command? (I'm on the PC)
Goliath978
Save your saves folder and reinstall the game if nothing works. It'd take like 15 mins but it's worth it IMO. First try that same command bunset the speed value to something you think is accurate.

I made a backup for my saves but turnes out that I didn't need to because they were still there. No matter what number I typed into for the value for the player.setav or player.modav command it wouldn't change the speed I was going at, and I was going like 20 times normal speed. utherix
player.modav speedmult -100 or player.setav <default> or negative whatever it is value you put there in the first place. I'm only assuming it accepts negative values here. Let us know if this works. Edited November 26, 2011 by utherix
Goliath978
Delete the .iniCopy your saves and delete the "my games/Skyrim"Folder or where ever your configuration settings are. If not:Delete any and all relation(except saves) to Skyrim on your system. Unless it's magical it can't possibly remember your console settings. Oooor have you tried new game? Maybe your saves remember the console command?
