Oh hell no. Give Quebec back to the French. Hopefully America would follow suit and give Texas back to Mexico (and then they'd break off and form the Kingdom of Texas with Perry as their new Presidente Para Vivo) Edited by Jeoshua

Awesome stuff, didn't know people could troll the Prez with fake petitions. :)

That is all this petition really is. Its not to be taken seriously. As it would never happen.

Question is, does someone in the government actually read and review each and every one of the online petitions? Considering the amount of troll petitions they receive, it must be a task of Sisyphean proportions :psyduck:

to put it into context

in a D&D style game where you can cut arrows in flight (to prevent them from striking you)

you only need to cut the arrows that would have hit -- the other ones simply don't matter

so they only need to read or consider a petition that achieves sufficient valid signatures

this alone should rule out 99.9999999999999999% of the online petitions.

After all only US citizens are eligible for a US petition

(So all the anime characters are invalid)

So all they would have to do is pay an intern to read the valid few every century (a rather cushy job) and bring the ones with legal merit to their attention.

this would be painful to watch, if it were real.

sure, it's mentally degrading to enjoy games, instead of reading classic books.

but who on earth chooses to read books when there are all these awesome games around?!

and, whoever seeks to imply that people should act otherwise is a shortsighted jerk who would probably suck at gaming.

edit: lold @ these:

They aren't really listening when it comes to anything else, so why would a simple petition catch their attention whether its legitimate or not?
