justwannaddl
I was just wondering what the typical reaction people had to Thalmor encounters were. I tend to hold up the last guy in the party and say I can worship whoever I want. He goes nuts before he tastes force lightening and I repeat the process with minimal effort. No bounty incurred to boot and I get some equipment to give any prisoner they may have if need be. Still, I'd rather skip the dividing and go straight in. Does anyone have a build in which they do just take them all on at once? What difficulty do you play at in that case?
frakle
Laugh at the prisoner, nod at my Thalmor brosephs, and continue on. problem non-thalmors
Kazakovich
That depends entirely on if I already have one of those snazzy authority-coats of theirs or not. "Rajh'shin believes all may worship whom they wish... But he will not interrupt his dinner for someone who does not bow before the Madgod." Of course, it also depends on if they take issue with me wearing the coat of a former comrade... "-Why, Bananaco, when did Ahnacano decide to sport a tail?""-My, I rightly don't know, Canananco... Let's ask."
Werne
I just kill them on sight. Arrogant bastards, always acting so uptight, they don't act so uptight when I shove an axe up their a**. Plus, I get some pretty cool weapons and armor.
amycus
IStill, I'd rather skip the dividing and go straight in. Does anyone have a build in which they do just take them all on at once? What difficulty do you play at in that case?I've never had problems with fighting them all at once. I assume that we are talking about the groups that usually consists of 2 shield and sword users, and one mage? Just go for the mage first, and then the others. I play on the adept difficulty though...

I play on the adept difficulty though... I seem to have bad luck with them. Most encounters I have to deal with two spellcasters and meat shield. It's why I pick them apart when I see them. Also on adept myself.
BloodwolfeAK
I have only ran across them escorting a repressed Nord once. Therefor I was not aware of their attitudes until one told me snottily to mind my own business. While I hadn't(and still haven't) chosen sides yet, I did not care for his manner. As someone mentioned, I also had 2 melee and a caster. I DW maces and I wanted to impress upon them my dissatisfaction with their shoddy treatment of other races. I just went with them as they came to hand, and left the impression of my maces in their craniums. The mage was most irritating. Made me chase him. Him I really wanted to chastise, so he got the mace put in sideways  Unfortunately, I was full of loot at the time so didn't pick up the stylish duds. I am sure I will have an opportunity later! Besides, they were prolly a bit bloody......
tnyrmn
I used to let them pass by, figuring out what this dragonborn business was about seemed more important than getting involved in politics. My character was just a simple hunter and all. However, after seeing three thalmor casually walking away from a hidden shrine to Talos where they slaughtered unarmed worshippers. Well this Nord got angry, ran back down the trail and butchered them all. Thalmor are now kos.
