SHO3LACE
Finish the main quest is not finish the game. Poll asks: Poll: How long did it take to finish the main story. Not the entire game.
Demorel
Voted 10 because I understood the question in the title wrong.Thought you meant figured out how it works and not being challenged in it anymore afterwards. You can add a challenge though by setting yourself the rule to scrap the character if you die once, makes it fun again. bben46
I think you are missing the point of the game - The idea isn't to dash madly to the finish line as if it is a race. There is no reason to rush, the only person to beat is yourself. Take your time, look at the scenery, try different things. Make friends, make enemies, get involved in the story line. Read some books, make some potions, craft some stuff, learn some spells. Try some mods. Try some more mods.
SHO3LACE
how is 79 hours to finish the game rushing?
hymhym
how is 79 hours to finish the game rushing? It's relative - it is rushing if you compare it to me for example. I'm at 145 hours, and I just managed to find Esbern in Riften. And I haven't eve done any of the guild quests (or even joined them...)

aguliondew
It's relative - it is rushing if you compare it to me for example. I'm at 145 hours, and I just managed to find Esbern in Riften. And I haven't eve done any of the guild quests (or even joined them...) I did that mostly the same thing and explored and stayed in 3 city areas(Whiterun/Riften/Markarth). I just now visited the mage college even though that was one of the main things I wanted to do after I set off from whiterun. Now I am a warrior :P. To many small tasks turned into epic events. Examples: Let me just appraise this stone ended up joining the thiefs guild, oh lets have a drinking contest ended up pasted out in markarth and so on. Tardivex
Same here, I just did unbound and started doing other quests, only after 50-60 hours that I started doing the main questline, that caused me to kill Alduin in 2 stamina attacks =D
babis8142
How about I haven't beaten it yet? I'm around 65 hours of gameplay and I've progressed the story quite a lot but I still haven't finished it. I mean all that crap in the game are so distracting! PrincessOfFlorin
I expect I'll finish the main quest in late March or early April. I play about 3 hours a day so doing the math I guess >400 hours. Edited November 27, 2011 by Goblin Girl
