toastysquirrel
I'm not talking about any essential NPCs since I imagine they're immortal. But what if a player decides they want to wipe out an entire village. Will the NPCs respawn or will the area become repopulated? Or will the area turn into a ghost town? I've been very curious because I'm playing a rather nasty PC and have had urges to purge a few settlements... but if that means I'll be left with an NPC-less zone then forget it. Does anyone know how re-population works?
darthsloth74
Ghost town I think. I went on a rather murderous rampage in one game. Given that dungeons don't respawn I assume non essential NPC's won't either.
Evilslay3r5
Well, I haven't tried it yet, but judging by past experience with Bethesda games, I'm going to go with no. They won't repopulate. I could be wrong. It could be some sort of new feature that will fill the town with generic NPCs, but I doubt it.

WarKirby3333
dungeons do so respawn. it takes quite a long time. a few ingame weeks i think. but they definitely do.

Ok I assumed they didn't since the map always updates them to cleared.
