There's no explanation of who or what it is now, why it is that way, or why it lives in a tiny room in a dark basement. on a possibly related node, what is the Atronach forge about? what purpose is there in creating hostile atronachs ? is there anything else it can do ? Lachdonin Posted November 26, 2011 Share Posted November 26, 2011 You can use the Forge to turn Ebony armour into Dardric, as well as create some of the more rare ingredients such as Frost Salts. As for the Auger, he, it, whatever, is a mage who tried a ritual that backfired, and created the glowing ball thing you meet. As best as i can tell, he's become compltely involved with the time-stream. He can see everything comming, and everything that has happened, though tends to be rather cryptic about it all.
