oblivion freezes main menu

When I start Oblivion via OBSE it freezes in the main menu and won't respond anymore.

 

Without OBSE everything is okay. I used wryebash too and I don't see any conflicts, but here's my load order:

Have you tried running the game with all your mods turned off? If it works properly without mods, you'll know at least one of your mods is causing trouble.

How do you start it via script extender? OBSE is now attached to the launcher in the more recent version. In the older versions OBSE was a separate file that you could launch on its own. Are you using an older version perhaps?

Use ObMM BOSS and Wrye Bash to manage your mods.

 

If the problem remains disable a group of mods, start a game, check if the problem is still here and so on.
