So I've been messing around with this all night and absolutely love it. Just wondering though, are there any in depth tutorials or videos to show how to add your own floor/level to a house? Or are there any videos or pictures of the user created levels? And another question! Can we placeatme a chain and door combo? Like, you have to pull the chain for the door to open? Or would I have to wait for the kit to be released?

That will probably require a script to run, so the CK is the best bet to get the chain + door combo working, not tried to place a chain right next to it, but i doubt it works like a lever in minecraft :P (if it does however..could it be another easteregg?)

adding another level to your home will take a lot of time, i have no videoes, but im planing on building a cellar in hjerim in the future, might make one then.

but placing walls/floors is all you basicly do though, so start with some stairs at the entry point or a door if you are not making another floor. and just start building walls and floors from the bottom/top of the stairs, thats how i added my little loft at least.

Something interesting I found. Not sure if folks are already aware, but maybe it will help the noobs. :)

If you go to the site that lists all the IDs on the first page and then go to art_objects (or just go here: http://fusromod.com/formids.php?idpage=art_object) this is a good number of the pretty lights, smoke effects, etc. in the game.

I stumbled across a cool one here... Nocturnal's ravens

CC80E

CC7C4

in case anyone wants to have some cool animated ravens perched in their house.

There's a LOT more cool stuff there, WAY more than I could post here. But keep in mind that some of these are temporary spell effects and disappear after a while. If you want to know if something is permanent, watch it for about 10-20 seconds. If it's still there, you should be good.

EDIT - also, these objects are all selectable, unlike lights and bookcase triggers and such, so you don't have to worry about not being able to move/delete them when you want to. You can play around with them all you want once they're placed.

RoonHapoon:

Adding another floor is essentially just as easy as altering what contents are in the original house. You are doing the same process of placing an object, moving it and rotating as needed, you are just working with items such as walls, floors, ceilings, and even some already partially built rooms. You just need to dig around and find the ID's for everything you need to build what you want to build, and go at it.

I will say this; Do not try to add on to the Markarth house until the CK is out. It has a load-in zone around the entire original structure, such that if you start building outside of it, you cant see the original house from the new area, and from the old you cant see the new. It's still THERE, it's just invisible, and thus looks bad and is a pain in the ass in all honesty. I know Proudshire Manor has no such zones, at all. I dont think the others do either, but I have not checked them.

If you want to add a rather basic, simple new floor, you really just need to find the ID's to add a door / opening, and then place floors, walls, and a roof to box it all in, and you have a simple room.

I might be able to do a quick video sometime in the future, since I know I am terrible at explaining things some times. I am kind of assuming you know the basic functions, of how to place objects and edit their positions, so this next step should be easy for you.
