Armor help

Hello everyone!

I've started to create armor for personal use for my Elisif Imperial Armor (download link) replacer some times ago... I've used parts of other mods and everything was alright except one part, skirt!

In outfit studio looks good, but in game does not look that good...

So I've looked for help and one good man told me this:

You can try adjusting the two thigh bones when you enter the "Bones" tab of Outfit Studio and decrease the weighting factor by holding down the ALT key and using the brush.

I've tried that, like 20 times, and some times looked better some times worse. I have minimum modding skills and I don't know how that suppose to look. I even tried to adjust other bones. But with no results

And yes there is only _0 there is no _1 weight. (I have instructions how to do that, but first I want to somehow fix that skirt). I am using Body Slide and Outfit Studio program

I really need some help, please if anyone know how to fix my problem please tell me.

I am hoping that you can understand me because of my bad English...

Greetings!

I feel your pain. Weighting is a very annoying process. I've never used OS so I'm not sure if it can do the same stuff that I mention here (apologies if it can).

I use Growlf's animation tools for Blender to do it. It allows you to pose the model while you're doing the weight painting so that you can quickly see the effect of your changes. In Blender, you can also see all the other bones that are influencing a given vertex when you select it.

As for the bones: Check the weight for the pelvis bone, and skirt bones. Make sure that there's no sharp changes in weights between verts.
