samishekh
I just bought Skyrim (yesterday) off of Steam and I've been having the same problem as the OP. I tried changing the bFull Screen=1, and manually set the resolution but to no avail. Every time I start the launcher I uncheck 'windowed' mode (even though it automatically rechecks it each time I close it) and set the resolution to 1280 x 1024 (also resets itself to default every time game is closed). I haven't put it into compatibility mode or anything either. My language settings are fine as well. I'm using:Windows 7 64-bitLatest version of steam/DirectXAMD Radeon HD6800 Series I am currently waiting on the ticket I sent to Bethesda. In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions?did they fixed for you? Karolsss
I had been using Steam to launch Skyrim, then I started using Steam SKSE, then SKSE with NMM; after this I gave Mod Organizer (MO) a go and had this issue. It appears that launching from MO did not recognize my previous launch set ups. I had to use the Launcher from within MO to launch the game to achieve initial game preference setups, such as resolution, fullscreen, ticking the gamepad controller options etc... After this I could open from MO in fullscreen; it appears to me that each "fresh" start with Skyrim the launcher must be used to set fullscreen etc... all seems well for me now. Thanks, that solved my problem!
