JoeyyX
Fallout: Hawaii Project began by JoeyyX about a week ago with little progress. Fallout: Hawaii is set in Hawaii, the 50th state. The mainland is all that is planned to be worked on, plans to be the same size as Far Harbor, if not a little less. If the mainland is too big, we can port over to Maui, the states second largest island.I have no firsthand experience visiting Hawaii, but I do have family that lives there. If we do end up with people from Hawaii, I would gladly take information from anyone that lives on Maui or Hawai'i. I am also no mod "expert", but am I no stranger to the Creation Kit, and know just about everything but Papyrus and a few Quest related items. As I do lack alot of experience with NifSkope and 3DSMax/Photoshop, thus the need for a team. This team we will require:ScriptersLevel DesignersQuest DesignersConcept Artists - if avaliableModelersWriters If you are interested, join the Discord at https://discord.gg/Eaw3pIf you dont have Discord, download it here https://discordapp.com/ Cheers
werr92
Is there a proof of your intentions yet? A trailer or a demo or a presentation at least? Cause, you know, it doesn't take much efforts to write a poorly descriptive post saying "I'm not an expert. No experience, no nothing to show you. But I've got an idea and wanna be a project leader. That's why I need other people to do things for me." Who would like to waste time on it, honestly? Scripters and modelers, who spend 10 times more time on their deed, than the rest of the entire crew? You see, you're a noname, wasn't trying to offend you, though I don't care. Take it for granted. And you only can move objects in CK - that's your skill. Why a modeler should create a set of Hawaii-stylized models for free (when it costs dozens of thousands of dollars at pro-scene)? Why a scripter should take his time and do programming for you (complicated intellectual job)? And then it turnes out, that because of the lack of your enthusiasm, the project gonna be dropped in a few weeks or months. Follow me? What I was trying to say is... talk is cheap. It is your obligation to make people certain about your mod. Otherwise there're tons of so-called "projects" starting on a regular basis. UPD. Just wanted to add. I'm finishing a small-sized quest mod. Don't let the word "small-sized" trick you, It has advanced hard scripting and many things that are nowhere to be seen in the mods so far. I did it entirely on my own. That includes: project planning, location design, plot writing, quest scripting, scripting a machinima + after effects work for the trailer, Sound FXs creating, voicing the characters, translating it into my language version (I'm not a native), voice audio editing and much more. The only thing I asked help with, was the voice acting. And only because I can't voice in 10+ different voices (+ Fem one). I only require a simple raw files from my voice actors, the rest is on me. Got 6 of them. That is hard as hell to collaborate with 6 people, each of them lives in a different time zone. So the question is: do you have any idea of how it is f***ing difficult to manage not 6 voice actors, but ALL of the people you need and their stuff? DO YOU?! Deleted49413338User
Wow.. This is ambitious for someone with little modding experience, nifskope, blender etc. Good luck though, we always need more new lands to explore.
