Pipboy screen brightness has goen down

For some reason my pipdoys screen has gone very dark and there appear to be one or two shadow obstrcucting the screen.

It's the new Nvidia driver. Set your game to "Use optimal settings" in GeForce Experience and that will fix it.

This is really a bullshit bug ... You can't do something without seeing the pipboy !!! :sick:

I deleted and reinstalled the whole game, all Nvidia driver and NMM, too. But I couldn't fix this problem. I don't know why these overpaid dumbass don't test their s#*! at first. After all the game is promote by Nividia, too. :down:

The essentials for them seems, to get a lot of informations of all user, like MS with their "free spy system 10". :ninja:

So it looks like, the onliest way until today to fix the pipboy-problem is to downgrade your Nividia driver.

For me from it was [372.54] back to [368.81].

It costed me 24 more than hours ... :confused:

Somebody posted here that you had to turn Ambient Occlusion off in Options when the game screen appears. I just did that and it has worked perfectly. Pip Boy restored to normal.

Hmm, I have no "Ambient Occlusion" when the game screen appears.
Also nothing similar in the "Expanded Options". :huh:

Maybe you mean "optimal settings" in GeForce Experience (see above). I didn't test that, last. Apart from this: If only one setting is possible, they don't need to offer these whole inflated settings. :mad:

Anyway, I've enough for now testing different ways. I'm glad that it works again and I'll better wait for a new driver update. :nuke:

No, when I open the game on my PC I am faced by a mini window with a power armor face and one of the tabs is Options. It is in the settings when you click on options.

It says that disabling Ambient Occusion and Godrays both give better performance so I disabled both while I was there.

No it's not. Like I said, GeForce Experience fixes it. Click on "Use Optimal settings" and it's done.

I tried use optimal settings and it didn't work. I then tried the Ambient Occlusion and that fixed my problem.
