lmb500
Hey all! :) I have a few questions about how to play: Well I have a level 17 guy. It's my first guy/play through. He's not perfect, as in perfect race for what he is, but I still seem to blow enemies away super easily, even on Master. I have noticed I have to keep switching difficulties mid-game. Playing a dungeon? Master. Dragon fight? Adept. (I can't even get close to beating one on master). When I make the game harder does the "XP" and loot increase as well? How does the monster leveling system work? Is it like Oblivion? Or are there harder mobs, as in different types, everywhere as I level? How can I hotkey dual weapons? I tried and it just keep swapping out ONE weapon, and not equipping both. Can I hotkey potions? Do other people crash out when looting dead people/creatures? Sometimes I'll be looting, I'll press "R" to loot all, and suddenly the items, such as 20 gold, will double, to 40 gold... it bugs out, so I'll exit, try to loot again, and bam game crashes. This happens a GREAT deal, once an hour or so. I did make it wher eI can hold 3800 weight, as... honestly it's really annoying to have to only be able to loot 5 swords a dungeon crawl. :P This game is frigging awesome and as a game developer I am very impressed, humbled by how huge it is, but there are some flaws! :P Thanks! Matth85
When I make the game harder does the "XP" and loot increase as well? Both yes and no. No, there is no increase in xp in any way. However, the more health the enemies got, the more attacks they survive. I.E the more xp you get per enemy. How does the monster leveling system work? Is it like Oblivion? Or are there harder mobs, as in different types, everywhere as I level?Monsters level with you, to a degree. Meaning a bandit can become a Bandit Marauder at higher level, and be 20 times as strong as a normal bandit. If you enter a cave at level 5, the monsters are aimed for your level. If you come back to that cave at 30, the monsters are still about level 5. However, if you entered that cave for the first time at level 25, they would most likely be levelled to 25ish. How can I hotkey dual weapons? You can't as far as I know. A tip is to never really equip the dual weapons. Meaning: If you change from Dual Weapons - Bow - dual weapons, you simply equip the bow, then unequip it. You are then back to 2 weapons. THe drawback is it does not work if you plan to use spells, as far as I know. can I hotkey potions? Yes Do other people crash out when looting dead people/creatures? Never heard about it before. Odd.... Cheers,Matth

Vindekarr
Some tips: Your Unrelenting Force will become a staple weapon in higher altitudes. In the areas around Riften and Markarth I've had more fun with tjhat shout than maybe I should have, but knocking a Goat or a Fox off a gigantamungous cliff and watching it ragdoll all the way down is just fun. And when you max it out you can even push those snooty random Nobles off aswell. The first time I blew a Noble, and his horse, down a ravine with my voice, I actualy wooped outloud. Smithing isvital for Warriors, make sure your Smithing doesn't lag behind your combat level. Always hunt around for new Shouts, warriors in particular benefit massively from them, with slow time, dash, stagger/throw all being extremely useful, not to mention Marked For Death, which butters up the target for easy melee'ing. Fire is fun but watch your aim, some caverns have oily floors that burn if ignited and hurt a lot. Advance slowly through hallways in Ancient Nord crypts, they often have copious amounts of traps, usualy in doorways. Trolls really are weak to fire, Fire Breath rips them a new everything.
