darrel
I was hoping to give character that I didn't want to kill a way out. Say I am level 30 and I beat the tar out of them, right before they died they would give me the option to spare them. That way characters like the twin elven sisters in the Arena didn't have to die. My character being so much more powerful would never have killed women or children. So I am rather limited in my role playing. Could anyone out there help me? If not, thats ok. Thanks for your time. I have issues with killing women characters in general when I play my main. As a role player it really takes away from the game. Maybe a different character would be fine, but not my main. WWDD, What would Drizzt Do? LOL

LOLClaude Maric in the “Nothing You Can Possess” will surrender to you if you refuse to hand over the panel item & instead choose to fight him & the 3 mercenaries. So this means that NPCs can surrender, it’s just a matter of finding out how. Later in “Secrets of the Ayleids” & afterwards (if you let him surrender to you) Claude Maric comments how there’s no hard feelings.
