  1. In response to post #119140678. #119166408, #119170528, #119177498, #119178018, #119179983 are all replies on the same post. My game won't even start now :(
  2. Absolutely and I don't want to have to use an internet connection to play a game I bought from a store; just rubs me the wrong way.
  3. Thanks to everyone for all your great input. My conclusion is that I probably will buy dragon Age Origin at some point. But like Fallout3 I'm not in that big of a hurry to get it. This will amaze you but I have never played WOW, AION or LOTRO. Played LOTRO Battle For Middle-Earth online but didn't like the on-line play , I guess I just don't like on-line games. I've played networked games like Unreal, Medal of Honor & other shoot'em up type games & liked them. The people here at the Nexus are some of the best bunch of folks you could ever meet, I have asked questions / help and the community always comes through. :thanks: Thanks again! :thanks:
  4. Thanks for the info, The main character for Oblivion is not voiced so that's no big deal to me as long as the NPCs are. I like the fighting of Oblivion instead of Gothic3 or a turn based system. Never played the other games mentioned but have played other Jedi games but not KOTOR. I like first person shooter / sneaker games also.
  5. Please give it to me, down & dirty; I love Oblivion. The single player style game play, free roaming, open quest NPC interaction & just about everything else. So based on that will I like Dragon Age? BTW I also absolutely love the Thief series of games (all 3) & I like Gothic3 pretty well also. I'm assuming the graphics are better than Oblivion right?
  6. Had to choose the 360, the Wii wasn't on the list, I like the Wii, it gets your butt of the couch. (The PS3 does have a blueray player) Most importantly is that Microsoft has gotten enough of my money already! PS Don't talk to me about hard core gaming putting down the Wii; it does what it's made for, good interactive games the whole family can enjoy. PCs are for the real hard core gammers.
  7. I have searched this site and found many clothes mods but not a Santa Clause mod. Could someone make a mod that included a Santa outfit that once put on you became Santa. Meaning all creatures friend or foe would become friendly to you & each other (near you). Instead of fighting you would throw out items (presents) and the NPCs would scramble to collect them. Any comments would be appreciated.
  8. The Marines came out of the Navy, so I choose the Navy they are the most diverse branch of them all. They have battle ships, subs, carriers, air planes & fighting forces (but no tanks bummer).
  9. 1. Thief (4) been wanting that a year after Deadly Shadows came out (2005). 2. A new FPS Lord of the Rings game 3. A new FPS Star Trek game 4. Duke Nukem 5. A new No One Lives Forever game 6. A new FPS Dune game 7. Speed Racer
  10. No question about it the Thief games (Thief, Thief2, Thief(3) Deadly Shadows! Then Oblivion and the rest.
  11. Some of these look pretty good. Thanks LHammonds!
  12. Worm, I love Bob Seger, thanks. This is a great site to find song lyrics: http://www.lyricstime.com/ I can’t believe I’m posting this song (not my favorite) but when I read “poetry in motion” in your title it just popped in my head, I can’t help it. Thomas Dolby She blinded me with science It's poetry in motion And when she turned her eyes to me As deep as any ocean As sweet as any harmony She blinded me with science And failed me in geometry When she's dancing next to me (Blinding me with science) (Science) Science I can hear machinery (Blinding me with science) (Science) Science It's poetry in motion And now she's making love to me The spheres are in commotion The elements in harmony She blinded me with science She blinded me with science And hit me with technology When I'm dancing close to her Science I can smell the chemicals (Blinding me with science) (Science) Science It's poetry in motion And now she's making love to me The spheres are in commotion The elements in harmony She blinded me with science She blinded me with science And hit me with technology Good heavens, Miss Sakamoto You're beautiful I, I don't believe it There she goes again She's tidied up and I can't find anything All my tubes and wires And careful notes And antiquated notions But, it's poetry in motion And when she turned her eyes to me As deep as any ocean As sweet as any harmony Mmm, but she blinded me with science She blinded me with science She blinded me with
  13. One of the things I like a lot is Arby's Jamocha Shakes, no I love them. Many times I run by the drive through just to get one & don't even order anything else. It's kind of like Starbucks "Frappuccino" but better. http://www.arbys.com/menu/beverages.php (No, I don't own stock in Arbys)
  14. I could only find the Kendo2 Gunman which is a remake of the Narikiri Gunman http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/search.php
  15. You're probably right, I found one but has to use the DivX codec, I know there must be something available for free (that doesn't put a watermark on it. My DVD player is suppose to play AVI & MPGs.
  16. Just bought a full season a TV program and every time I put a DVD in a stupid movie company clip starts then a menu comes up I have to select play episodes or special features. So I click play episodes & now the menu for that particular episode comes up, you know chapters, bla, bla , bla. Would like to re-record my DVD episodes, cutting out the opening & closing credits and just have that on the DVD, so when I put it in all I have to do is select the episode & play without all this annoying browsing & junk. I am looking for good free software that will allow me to do this; I don't want to make a DivX movie because my DVD player won't play them. DVDs are better quality than video tape but I sure miss being able to pop the tape in & fast forwarding to what I want to see (no animations, menus or submenus) I'm guessing BlueRay operates the same annoying way. You guys (MRG) came through great for me last time when I was looking for a FLV converter (http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=53323&hl=) so I'm asking for help again. Thanks in advance, Hoots7
  17. It's a good comparison at least for me, I would feel the same way & always wonder if I had another child out there somewhere. I may do it for a friend (like some else did) but not for concert tickets (liked the stock comment).
  18. I saw the head, what's the Easter egg? If you drop the head in the Farm House and talk to the "Fingers," no one seems to notice (or care) that the head is there. EXCEPT the traitor. Thanks for telling me Gman, is it worth going to the trouble of redoing? Does he say something funny?
  19. The Draconis family & betraying the mom’s confidence like that, I resurrected her & most the others. Taking out the DB wasn't that bad, I got all the non-essential ones before I joined, snuck in as a thief. Killing the vampire in the DB Purification sucked (pun intended) because even after resurrecting him he no longer offered to make me a vampire. I saw the head, what's the Easter egg?
  20. I hate the Linches because they never have any stuff & Wraiths that sometimes keep making that stupid noise (& won't disappear) even after you've killed them.
  21. Rain magically penetrates through rooftops. It’s real funny to stand under a porch & get rained on.
  22. Oh yea man I know what you're talking about. Did you ever find the invisable dot & read the creators name in Adventure? I had a Magnavox Odyssey2 that had a keyboard & some games came with overlays to put on top of it. Later I won an Atari 2600 at McDonalds in thier Astroids scratch off game. That was a big HOOT for a little kid.
  23. I agree with the others in naming E.T. as the worst. It was the ultimate example of a company depending on name recognition to sell a product & was a horrible game. After checking out the GameSpot site under most disappointment I would have to say I think the game Planet of the Apes is my #1 disappointment. This game has some really great elements, it kind of blends all (except the latest) the movies into it & builds on them, great story, characters, good graphics (at the time). The reason it is a big disappointment is that although released in 2001, it has no mouse support, I mean none at all, 100% keyboard. Back then I could handle that (my style was still all keyboard on some games like doom) but all my friends that tried playing it stopped because of the controls. Too bad because I finished it & actually really liked it, it had stealth & problem solving as well as some good old fashioned shooting (the Baboon guards were tough). I’ve seen things like this before, business execs just go brain dead from time to time (like Bethesda with the Morroblivion thing), the company’s decision makers just allowed one of their games to come out with no mouse function at all, must have been the only one in about 4 to 5 years, dumb de dumb…..dumb.
