I wanted to liberate the hold but i couldnt get in the city without everyone telling me that nobody escapes cihdna mine. I was trying player.payfines, player.setcrimegold 0, none of those work at all. the one you want is paycrimegold TrojanKillaPosted 11/27/2011 1:59:49 PMmessage detail Ok, had this same thing happen to me, finished the mine quest and then had the guards harass me in markath for a bounty that i picked up for an unrelated crime which respawned the go to jail dialogue with no option to pay the fine. You can tab out of the conflict, but then all guards are then hostile and will kill you. The key is to pay your bounty, but you are not given the option to do so. Here is how: Fast travel to Markarth Stables, do not fast travel to Markarth because for some reason when you pay the fine in the city the guards are still hostile. Check your bounty in the reach prior to fast travel and make sure you have enough gold to pay your bounty. In my case it was a 1000 dollar bounty that i picked up. A guard will run up to you, wait for him to start dialogue with you demanding you go to jail. Once in dialogue, bring up the console command line which is done with the ` or ~ key. Do this when in the dialogue screen with the guard. Now click on the guard which will bring up his ID then type in the command line: paycrimegold You do not need to specify ID or any other commands. You should respawn in markarth city proper with no bounty and no hostile guards. If you do it in markarth city you respawn with hostile guards. Unfortunately, I had already "discontinued"the soldiers in the stables, so I found a couple in the guard tower and had them chase me out tothe area, which then I applied this fix. Melooo Posted February 7, 2012 Share Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) I just got this solved another way After finishing "the lost expedition" quest, i spoke with one of the guards in the jarl's court and he attempted to arrest me as usual however this time it allowed me to pay the fee and voila! bug fixed, i can even go to talos shrine and there are no guard trying to arrest me or anything, all reach guards have back their normal dialogs and can speak with them without them trying to arrest me :D Note: i have latest patch 1.4 and Companions quest line is completed too, dunno if those are related at all.
