TotalRookie
I heard a theory that M'aiq names himself after his father, his fathers father, so-on. So this means we have an entire line of lying M'aiqs. If not, then how old is he, and how did he learn to become immortal. He's probably lying anyways so all we can do is speculate xD

InuyashaFE
He mentioned he was soul-trapped once. Maybe a mage soul-trapped him until he could reconstitute him into a new body?
uruku7
Is it just me, or is he not much of a liar anymore?
audioave10
I think his claim to be a Liar......is just a lie!
Sheralynn
I encountered him once on a deserted path. I sneak-shot'ed him and took his hide and made a pair of boots out of it and called them 'Boots of Maiq'. The strange thing is when I wear them during fast travel they never bring me to were I want to go. Guess they are just as unreliable as their former wearer. ShadowscaleB1980
apparently all the male kajiit in his family were given the title M'aiq the Liar - there must be one in each part of Tamriel. NephilimNexus
apparently all the male kajiit in his family were given the title M'aiq the Liar - there must be one in each part of Tamriel. He's actually immortal. He looks slightly different in each game because he just regenerates ever few hundred years. And Rule One is: M'aiq lies. natelovesyou
I understood that he's a descendent of M'aiq from Oblivion, he isn't the same person. And if he was the same cat, he sure has lost his humorous nature from prior games...
Kazakovich
Well, mainly because some people threw one of the greatest of hissy fits in history over poor ol' M'aiq when Oblivion rolled around. I suppose he's diplomatic enough to tone down his lies a bit, even if he's immortal, he's most likely not very fond of the idea of being lynched. :P
