Simpson3k Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Is it possible to add ammo for red glare that offers a target lock on and homing abilities? Prolly only useable via scope, perhaps even a nice cross around the target in the scope that rotates around while the targeting thingy runs, and a sound loop before lock-on and another after look-on, till the rocket is fired or the scope is disabled, aiming aborted. Wouldnt that be cool? :) Actually i had hoped this big monster red glare would offer something like that..was a bit dissapointed that is only fires dumpfire rockets like the missle launcher. Skyviper086 Posted November 30, 2011 Share Posted November 30, 2011 Look we have plasma weapons for crying out loud I'd say a homing rocket would be possible for someone to mod, we also have robots that can walk and fly so yeah they could've have had homing/guided rockets. They had remote control aircraft in WW2 and that was the '40s. I don't mean RC's either I mean they had F-109s that were being flown remotely. So a wire guided system or a beam rider could work.... I did remember seeing something along those lines though. I don't think it was actually used it was just experimental. Thanks for the correction though.
