natedogg8960
My Skyrim keeps crashing upon leaving a certain area or boundary. I cant fast travel or go certain distances (about 100 steps) without my game crashing. I already tried sorting the load order, increasing startup memory, and sorting out the errors. I can load the game just fine I just can't really go anywhere at all. That makes the game unplayable and I have tried all I know to do. Here is my load order. Can someone please help? Some of these links might help, usually a crash is the result of a missing file. Maybe you have a mod that relies on another mod, DLC, SSE if thats the case you're load order should pick it up but I've experienced mods that arent well done that corrupt main files or interfere with other files that do not show up in the load order. It could also be that your computer does not have the facilities to play Skyrim or maybe it barely does and you are overloading the memory with texture mods or other mods that alter the games main files. In such an event your computer will automatically close the program just like it would if there was a missing file. Symptoms of that would be things like black textures, stutter, longer than normal load screens, these are signs that you need to uninstall or just turn off some mods. Mainly re texturing, overhauls, or redux mods (as they tend to be the largest). Edited August 23, 2016 by Ghostrick
Darkstyler35
Hello,CTD in a particular cell / location.Selective loading : untick 50% of your mods, beginning by the end of your load order and test in game starting a new game, (keep alternate start activated).
