Random thought, but why Underworld/Twilight inspired? Go to the original Vampire vs. Werewolf source material: White Wolf's World of Darkness! Kindred vs. Garou! (Vampire the Masquerade and Werewolf the Apocalypse for those who have no idea what I'm talking about) Obviously the way Skyrim does vamps and wolves is a bit lackluster, and you couldn't get everything about the Kindred and the Garou in it, but you could certainly use it for a damn good base for ideas. And why limit it to just one area? Have the war slowly spread out over all Skyrim. More interesting when there's more terrain to be fought over.

 

 

How dare you mention twilight in my thread. *rages* nah i kid, i didn't think anything was twilight inspired.

 

But on that note most of the information on the wolves and vamps is temporary, there's a group writing some lore for us. Their doing research into vampires and werewolves so what they come up with should be very good.

 

like a soda bottle cave thing you look up and you se light thru holes in the cealing and so someplaces is brighter than others. like a cave looking like an alley inside a cave whit several smaler caves inside and maybe an castle for the vampire nobles. like the mod underdark(or somthing like that dont remember the name corectly) but in a smaler and brighter kind of and of cause no snow inside

 

These are nice, we'll probably go with some of these ideas. particularly the castle and the holes in the ceiling for light to come in.

i will follow this mod and give you my ideas when they come as that is the only way i can help because i cant mod but if you need help just send me a message and i can tell you if it is inside my competans level but i i can do it i will do it. what if after you do a little thru the mainquest after killing the first draggon a stranger in black will wist you when you sleep (like the joining in oblivions dark brotherhood) and he/she gives the player a note or tells the player about the valley of war (random name to where they fight) and it/he/she tells you that he has grown tierd of this war and want it to end and then direct the player to a place where he can meet a vampire and a wolfy that has agreed to help the stranger (because of the same reason, maybe it is a vamp girl and a wolf man that loves eachother or vica verca) in black and then you can get to choose which side you choose and your maker will go with you and the meeting of the four (you, stranger, wolf and vamp) is top secret but later (if) your maker is found out and executed/banished to the woods. will you hate the other side? wil you aid them? or wil you seek to destroy them both?

 

the smith that makes the ainchent set shoud be a orc or a nord maybe it was a group? a mage, a smith, an man-hunter (assasian) and a warrior. and when they made the set they transfered their life essens to different parts of the set. (warrior the sword, the man-hunter knife and bow, mage the boots, helment and gauntlet and the smith the armor or something like that maybe they did make several sets but the last one is the one that was the most effective and the one that they boundt their souls to if so many types of armor/robes/weapons will be found. like a sword that vampires cant weald but wolfs can and svords that wolfs cant but vamps can and the one that wolfs weald is more effective to vamps and the vamp blade hurts wolf much more than normal weapons.

Summary

 

New exterior areas to explore

Currently we're a small group of modders who will start working on the exterior cells as soon as the CK comes out. As of the moment we don't need any more assistance but once the CK is out we will discover that help will be needed by other modders who are better than us. At a later period in production we will be needing writers and voice actors, At this time you can send me a PM with what you would like to help with and a small snippet of your abilities, when we began looking for help we will PM you back.

I've always found vampires/weres to be more interesting when they are blending in with society rather than some hidden location. This leads to more mystery and intrigue.

All ideas are appreciated, and this a beautiful wall of text. I like some of your ideas on the ancient equipment, and i'm glad to see that you read through the notes. Seeing as the CK is coming out in January we now have a lot of time to figure out what the entire mod is going to entail (thank god i bought myself a whiteboard a few weeks back) Now before the CK is the time to throw out ideas so if you have any more post them here on the thread. :)

well i shall do that. :D and maybe it is a word wal in the valley. but it is great to have a plan befor starting on a big project so lets just hope people are active and have good imagination but now i go to the land of skyrim to find new ideas. oh wait before i go what if the smith people are wearing dragonprest mask like the smith mask gives incrised smithing lv. the mage gives you the ability to enchan normal weapon with damage vamp/wolf, the assasian gives you a power that you can activate and you go invisible and icreas sneak and bakstab and something original to the warior..-

hey you guys planing reblance werewolf and wampires ? werewolf not jumping in game i mean jump like a movies 4-5meter.and werewolf could die with 1 arrow shot 1 arrow killing me in game) i think wampire and werewolf should be skill and perks like lockips 2 handle weapon. but will see what you will make good luck !

Our plan is to build a new world and adventure focused around werewolves and vampires, i have no doubt in my mind another group already has plans to adjust vampires and werewolves. (theres been a number of serious threads about it)

what about outcasts? like there wil be outcasts that for seweral reason is beening banished from their race/clan like some for killing an oficer, some for disobeing and some runing of whit the other race. the outcast is like a smal town/set of caves that is like ground zero in the war asthere is both wolfs and vamps in it but it is a thrashy place where people who dont want to get notised go to do iligal things. both side of the war hates the outcasts and they are free for all to kill and because of that the town of outcast is a violent place with a type of militia that stops mayor fights (do you fight 1-3 they dont care but more they go in and stop the fight or something like that) so in the start of the quest line the quest can be like find that outcast kill/give him/her achanse to join the clan again and by that killing for revenge or gaining allies in the clans eather way what you chose you wil get a new "enemy" or an "ally" in your clans that will help you lateter (exsample the mage wants a person killed and a warrior wants a person recruted if you do as the mage wants you vil gat a trainer/spell seller and companion but do you help the warrior you get a one han/two hand trainer and weapon/armor seller and a companion and like that you must not just chose who you want to ally whit but allso who do you need or like

i agree with Voraxith, i think it would be cool to have the valley hidden away but then, why not have them find a means to escape? then the war spreads out across skyrim, into the different holds (where the player can go in undercover as an agent of one of the two and "assist" in cleaning up the mess that has spilled into the city. (that would make it VERY interesting in whiterun i would think ;)) maybe even introduce three new beasts: dragopyre (dragon vamp mix), dragowolf (dragon wolf mix), and werepyre (vamp wolf mix) and you become one of these three by choices made during the quest line. (obviously if you use the idea of the three mixes, race names should be changed lol ) i like the idea of a vam vs. wolf war and i was looking forward to this popping up as it was surely inevitable. i hope you can take it and run with it. i would LOVE to see this ingame:)

not dragonpyre... but a were-pyre could be "realistic" as a cult could be trying to make a hybrid to aid their side in the time of need and it becomes crayzy but to become strong enoch to beat it you need to be one to....
