WIP The Network weapons and armoury (working title)

Hey guys. I've been sharing my progress on this in the mod authors forum but now I feel I have enough for it to be worth while showing you I figured I'd actually make a wip thread. IF you want to see what it is just watch the video. Everything below that is just details. Basically it'll be done when it's done. I got a pretty busy schedule so I do what I can when I can.

 

 

So this mod will add the armour that you see, and I'm hoping to make at least one fully modable weapon and a suit of power armour. I'd ideally like to create a short story/quest to go with these but I can't promise that. Everything you see in the trailer will at some point come out in some kind of mod whether or not it's the one I have envisioned is a matter of time available.

 

To do

all world object meshes

all _fps meshes (the hands look terrible in 1st person right now.)

female torso

All work on the power armour from concepting to finished product.

Location and quest.

 

So basically a lot.

 

At this time I'd like to add that I am having a few issues with clipping on the coat. I've already made a request for this in the CS forums but if ANYONE has a .blend file with the character skeleton in it they could send my way I would REALLY appreciate it. It'll be a lot easier to figure out what the issue is in blender than in OS. Failing that the coat will just have to look crap when the player crouches for stealth.

cheers man. I fixed most of the issues with the coat rigging and started work on the power armour yesterday. Will upload screens when it's almost done.

Just a quick update on how the power armour is coming along. This is the high detail mesh for the torso and arms. Just the legs and helmet to do. The theme here is kinda like the hulkbuster suit in that it will look like the normal armour in tank mode.

the robe's a nice touch actually, wouldn't of thought about it but it says "warlock" in an armoured way :D

cheers man i had no end of clipping issues with the robe for a while and to be honest I actually prefer the suit without it these days. But the robe was part of my original concept so it's staying regardless of the trouble it's given me.

High poly mesh finished. Maybe now I'll actually play some Fallout for a while before working on the materials.

I really need to play as well, god, I've spent as much time playing with mods or even just the IDEA of mods than I have playing...

but that's a seriously potent looking power armour, it looks like it's well armoured while ALSO mobile unlike the X-01
:D truly worthy of melee as a suit

Just a quick update to let you know things are still moving forward. I'm just having some problems setting up power armour in the CS but I'll get it with a little more work.
