Truebluehero
I'm currently trying to create my own race, specifically I'm currently working on giving it a custom voice. I added the new Voice Type, assigned my race to the voice, and started a Dialogue Quest. I've currently assigned three voices to this dialogue; CombatGrunts, Sprint breath, and leaving water breath. Sprint breath and water breath both seem to work just fine. However, even though it seems to be set up in exactly the same way as the other two voices, CombatGrunts refuses to work in-game, and the character stays silent. (It works within CE.) Is there something special about this specific voice that perhaps makes it require something extra? Thank you.
Truebluehero
Turns out I was using the wrong voice category. I thought combat grunts was the voice made when the character swung their weapon, but apparently that's a voice in the combat tab. So it wasn't that the voice wasn't working, I was just testing it under the wrong conditions. As soon as I tried using the Attack voice instead, I had the voice I wanted, so I can only blame my own ignorance on this one. :ermm: Edited August 27, 2016 by Truebluehero
