Trouble with overview MCM for Immersive Creatures v6.5

Hello everyone,

I am having serious issues with the difficulty of this mod. For one, I cannot change any setting in the overview portion of MCM. It says on the author's website that this is how I scale difficulty with the mod, but since I cannot change it, the game is impossible.

I am currently level 20 and I get one hit killed with a bow shot and axe hits from berserker skeletons. I have not been able to alleviate this issue. I am at the end of the main quest and I simply cannot finish it (for the 1st time btw  ) as the game is too hard.

Does anyone have similar issues with this version of the mod? I have installed every compatibility patch for my load order, made a merged and bashed patch, and used loot. I also use MO.

I will attach a myfile photo once I figure out the system.

I use immersive creatures along with a large host of other mods to increase difficulty and i have no issues...including the new creatures.

I use the purist version. Bash patch should fix any other issues and you should be good to go. The difficulty of the creatures in my game is right in line with what they should be.

for your MCM do you have up to date SKSE and SKY UI?

Hello,

<I cannot change any setting in the overview portion of MCM> you may have a scripts conflict.

  • Try a selective loading : untick 50% of your mods, beginning by the end of your load order and start a new game, do not use existing savegame as they are contamined with scripts. Then depending on if the problem occurs again or not, increase /decrease the remaining loading mods to find the culprit.
  • Create a wryebash patch including leveled lists.
  • Create a merged patch with Tesedit excluding leveled lists.
  • If above doesn't work, it's not a scripts / mods conflict. Check if the mod is correctly installed.
  • Do a manual install : extract all required files from the orginal archive to your skyrim/data folder and overwrite if prompted.

Good luck.

I fixed the issue. The MCM overview is supposed to be grayed out as it just shows info for any changes made in the subset menus. I changed the difficulty in the subset menu relating to it and it updated in the overview menu. Thanks for all the input and help though darstyler and twiztedmongoloid!
