Sporatic Game crashes

Ok, basically my game with these mods and the same load order works... most of the time, but it will randomly freeze for roughly 2-3 seconds and then CTD with no errors, can't find anything useful with the F4SE crash logs or SnakeTail and cannot see anything immediately wrong via FO4Edit, my load order is below, any assistance would be appreciated :x

Hmm... this looks like you install things manually and just copy paste the files without choosing which esp you want... :huh:

 

Well... check out the notes I left on your load order and then:

 

1 - Update your mods.

2 - Run LOOT to try to sort the load order.

3 - LOOT will place Scrap Everything in the wrong spots, move the files manually to the bottom of the load order.

4 - Check out the duplicated esp files and choose which one to keep.

5 - Load your game and test it out for a while.

 

I hope this helps you fix your issues.

Actually, I just noticed those double up of the .esp's, I used NMM, which is why I didn't double check to make sure only one was installed :x, I've sorted that out now, but still getting issues, and I'll try the other two suggestions you made, thanks a lot mate :D

 

Edit: Ok, haven't had anytime to test whether that has made my game more stable, for some reason my Custom PA seems to be completely FUBAR, invisble when using a jetpack, and when landing if I am looking down for some reason everything just breaks, screen goes solid one colour, all audio is gone =.=

Hmm... disable your custom SFX and PA mods and see if that still happens with a vanilla PA/SFX.

 

If no issues arise with vanilla PA/SFX, try re-installing (uninstall completely and install again, don't overwrite) the PA mod and test. If no issues arise, re-install the SFX mod and test again.

 

Edit: I just noticed something that I didn't last night (serves me well for posting stuff half asleep): you have the Unofficial Patch.

 

I've been tracking the UFOP and I'm holding off from using it until FO4 build is stable because right now, it's a hit and miss on which mods will conflict with UFOP. You might want to try running the game a bit without it activated to see if that's related to your issues.

Hmm... disable your custom SFX and PA mods and see if that still happens with a vanilla PA/SFX.

I found out that it was the Nuka-World DLC, forgot I had the Season pass and it ninja installed xD, also still have sporadic crashes in game, revised the load order, unfortuantely LOOT seems to ignore a LOT of mods, at least the ones I have :x

Sometimes I think I'm better off not being able to afford to buy the DLC's right away with all the bugs they bring. Not sure if you will be able to completely get rid of CTD's (let's be real... it's Bugthesda) but keep an eye out for updates to your mods so that they work with Nuka World and update as soon as possible.

 

One thing: Since Bugthesda decided that placing esm at the top is overrated, make sure that the Nuka World esm is up there together with the other fallout esm files, below the VaultTec esm (DLCworkshop03.esm). Loot should place it there right away but better safe than sorry.

I just removed the Nuka-World .esm, can't use it anyway, the sporadic crashes are too constant in the cell where the Nuka-World transit station is, plus it breaks a few mods (Like getting out of my PA inside the Nuka-World transit stations cell causes a CTD) so I will wait till they get updated, then put the .esm back in there

I will not solve the crashing, but 3d scopes works best at the top of the load order.

I have found LOOT is only good to find conflicts, and it does place many of my mods in the wrong place.

 

I have read if you're using DEF_UI you will crash near Nuke-World's location without the DLC patch.

Ok, done some restructuring and it seems to be a tad bit more stable, getting slightly less frequent freeze CTDs now, would be ncie if they were completely gone, but hey, a minor victory is still a victory... now if only I could find out what mod was causing the enemies to randomly spawn at a higher level then me, seen far to many skulls and not enough of them being the remains of said enemies
