greeny187
When I open the workbench for some works, the structure option is missing. I have only a few options available. Besides, other options are also missing. SKE when press shows me limited choice. What's wrong? Have the latest steam update.
euph
Did you happen to uninstall one of the mods that inject new menus via script without using the in-game uninstall? For example: Snap N Build (would make Structures disappear), Modular Kitchen (would make furniture disappear). If so, try the Universal Missing Menu Fixer. Install it, start your game and go have a coffee, take a bath... basically, let it run for a good long while. Then save your game, exit, disable the mod and load your game again. Hopefully, it will fix your menus (seems to be a bit of a hit and miss according to the comments...) Edited August 29, 2016 by euph
greekrage
Use this http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14589/? READ the readme file.. It works 99% Ive used this to fix my menus many times since i run allmost every major building mod there is. Also try and remember which building mod you uninstalled last and reinstall it so you can fix the category it took with it when you uninstalled it.Then look at that mods description and uninstall instructions. Usually injected mods have a "aid" etc. that you make at the chem station and run/use that then save /exit the game and THEN uninstall . The fact that youre missing stuff from SKE scares me though.Did you install /uninstall the ALLDLC mod by any chance ?? One more thing.. If youre using NMM also install LOOT and run it to fix your load order.Sometimes the load order also causes chaos with the build menus ,certain mods have to have a specific load order to work well with other similar mods. steve40
Universal Missing Menus Fixer will revert the vanilla formlist, but it will also try to preserve any custom menus added by scripted mods. Missing Settlement Categories Fix reverts the vanilla formlist, but does not try to preserve any script-added categories, potentially breaking a bunch of mods in the process. So try UMMF first, and if it doesn't fix the problem, then try MSCF. Well-scripted mods will detect that their categories are missing and add them back, but if you find that some scripted mods still have missing categories, you will need to deactivate the mod, make a clean save, then reactivate the mod to re-initialize the quest that adds the categories back.
