Onslaught989
Hey. So i have seen some questions floating the net about how to beat this guy, as if you go in not fully prepared, He is a damn hard fight. When i went in my damage wouldnt hurt him TOO much (though a decent amount with firebolts) and he could 2 shot me. Fear not - I have found a slight bug to beat him if youve tried many times and just...cant. Basically what i did, was when you run in, get him chasing you (be careful not to take his lightning bolts in the arse. They hurt.) Run into the room through the center underneath the bridge, and to your left their are stairs. Go up. Now follow this path back towards the main door of this room, right to the end, and turn right for more stairs. Now follow this bridge back to the other side of the room (ensure Moreki is in persuit as he must follow you for this.) When you get to the other side, you can go down the stairs on the left, and you will see a door. Open it and go through. Run to the end of the tunnel and open the door here. (stay with me, it seems long typing, but the entire process will take no time at all. Very compact). Now somewhere in this area (i think to the left?) close by is a gate. Have moreki chase you up the hall to the gate. Keep a bit of distance between you. Open the gate with the lever beside it, and run through, turn around and hit that same lever again to lock yourself inside. Theres no inner lever, but fear not, you can reach the one on the other side from inside through the gate with ease. Once the gate is closed morekis AI should bug leaving him just standing there. Open the gate and blast away. This worked multiple times for me (testing). I did have it not work just once out of a few times (it worked MOSTLY but he got one or two attacks off) but i just blasted him a bit, closed the gate and repeat. It works well. Enjoy your spoils you get from Moreki and the quest end asfterwards!
justwannaddl
I actually did the dumb thing and went after him even though I didn't have a skill over sixty and I didn't bother to refill on potions. My character was barely able to handle the dungeon using sigils, stun locking and fire atronachs, let alone Mordekei. Those thunderbolts were hell and his summons turning caught me off guard. I only managed to beat him after glitching him with a desperate barrage of stun locking dual casted firebolts. If his animation didn't freeze, I would have never finished that quest. ninga_express
I had a warrior character at that time and I had the block perk where if you sprinted while holding shield you would knock down anyone in your way, I used that to stunlock and my very heavy magic resistance enchantments stopped any real damage being done, so I just chipped away at his health until he died. Sarathoria
I used the good 'ol line of sight marksman routine, it worked really well, and when he hit me, I was able to heal myself up by moving in and out of the pillar, since his lightning bolts would hit the pillar I was behind and not me. Trey5511
Dodge his lightning bolts using cover. 20 minutes later, he'll run out of magicka. Then he'll be harmless. Lightning bolt speeds it up, and does damage too. ;)

Nekrafilia
How to kill him in 30 seconds: Run up to Moreki, right next to his bubble. Range kill the the mages holding his "bubble shield". When the shield drops hug him and shout Unrelenting force, then power cast fireballs at him. He never gets a chance to get up let alone cast.If you have a follower it makes it even easier as he gets chopped up easily.
Kravick
I just hid behind the pillars and kept peeking out and throwing non-dual cast Ice Storms at him, one right after another. He seemed to be taking more damage from the constant AOE effect of Ice Storm than the direct damage of Fireball or Chain Lightning. I think its because he doesn't move very fast combined with the place being a very confined space, so this kind of situation really maximizes time spent in the AOE. When I'd run out of mana I'd just stay hidden behind a pillar and use Equilibrium in one hand while spamming fast heal (with 50% bonus healing perk) in the other. Full mana rather quickly doing that. This was a really easy fight for me, but he did have a boat load of HP. The Thalmor guy after Moreki was a complete joke. Soon as he was done talking his bulls*** to me I hit him with Unrelenting Force and killed him with 3 non-dual cast fireballs before he recovered from my shout. Then I had fun by going all Sith Lord on his body with Sparks. Pushed him around the room like a grocery cart. I had WAY more fun than I should have doing that... Freakin hate the Thalmor.
