I messed it up by installing some conflicting mods so I deleted all of them and completely reinstalled the game. I have 1000+ hours on skyrim so I would say I kind of know what I'm doing?? (idk maybe I'm an idiot aha). When I reinstalled it everything worked perfectly, I was careful on installing mods that would work together and rooted out the ones that weren't - everything looks nice and works well.(alternate start live another life makes it CTD as well, could I get some help for that as well? If not that's fine) Then I tried installing the enb files (moving the d3d9.dll and enbhost.exe to my skyrim directory under steam/steamapps/common/skyrim. Doing this and only this, not installing any enb files, makes my game CTD upon trying to load a save. Thank you for getting back to me! I think the fix should involve SKSE.ini however for some reason I don't actually have SKSE.ini? I will show you the directory where it is supposed to be but it isn't there? I am so confusedAlso, upon loading Skyrim now, I get an error message saying SKSE memory fix is not active in my game, and to make sure Data/SKSE/SKSE.ini has DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 or more. I would be able to do this if I had a SKSE.ini file! lol As you can see in the attached image, the place SKSE.ini should be isn't there. I'm a mess.ENB still CTD's upon loading a save, and I can't run alternate start live another life, and holds the city overhaul doesn't seem to work? It is higly recommended to install ENBoost -->ENB graphics / ENB haxx.<CTD's upon loading a save> if you have made some significant changes to your game, such as uninstalling mods, changing load order, etc.. may be your saves must be cleaned or they simply can not be loaded anymore.Don't uninstall mods at mid-game, there are no clean save in Skyrim but using save script cleaner can help removing orphan scripts.New SkyrimTools, (corrupt saves topic).Good luck. Really sorry to be so annoying but I don't have enblocal.ini because enb won't let my skyrim work if it is installed so I just don't have itI do have crash fixes, and yes, I do meet the author recommendations.I will try the save script cleaner.
