Edit: Funny comment on the page asking how big the mod will be. (3.5 GB)

When's the xbone version coming out? ;P

That's the mess of it, isn't it? A PC only mod that is available on Bethnet but not the Nexus. Sounds like some kind of oxymoron or something.

Well, turns out Vault 1080 is only 138 Mb. Not DLC sized at all. Oh well.

Meh. Like i've seen with a few comments here, any new content is a good thing. I mean, we're getting what looks like a fairly high quality mod to try out, and if it turns out to be a PoS, we can just uninstall it. No harm done.

I've just dissected the mod. It adds f*#@all new assets. Disappointing.

I mean, would it be a big deal if it was any other quest mod here on the nexus?

I would suggest people learn the artistic techniques from the mod

why can't textures be... 8k + 2k?
no not 10k, I said 8k + 2k
one layer that shows up in certain ways based on angle while the other does whatever it does? as normal textures go
8 texture, 2 texture and lines of sight /
________

_ / _
/ /
/ /

or some sorta thing where the texture shifts from one colour to another as the angle of sight changes
but the pattern of the texture stays the same

Installed it this morning to try it out and see what the fuss was about, attempted to load my most recent save, got as far as the loading screen before CTD after twenty seconds. Uninstalled it, loaded recent save fine. I'd read about a few bugs and NVIDIA's recommendation to use a console command to bypass them. Geez, six months in development from a team based at NVIDIA and they can't even ensure it's bug/conflict free on launch. Or maybe it's because I'm using an AMD card?
