prolovegirl
In Morrowind, I was intrigued by an NPC who specialized in poisons. She had a high Sneak skill and wore a "Cruel Viperbolt" ring, and wielded a "Dire Viperblade" dagger, and carried 12 "Cruel Viperstars" for throwing at enemies. Her highest skills were Marksman and Short Blade, which I assume were for stabbing people with her poison-tipped dagger, and throwing her poison-tipped stars at them. So in Morrowind and Oblivion, I frequently built characters with poison blades and arrows, and focussed on the skills which would help, such as Marksman and Blade etc. In Skyrim, I've started building a similar character. What do you think are her weaknesses or strengths? Is there anything you would change, to make her better? With each level-up, I'm aiming towards a "2 health, 2 magic and 1 stamina" proportion. For the perks, I'm concentrating at first on the Sneak, and Alchemy for poisons. Then when I'm strong in those, I build the Archery and One handed weapons, for stabbing them in the back with a poison dagger, if they're in close quarters, and for shooting them from a distance with my poison-tipped arrows, while hiding. I've joined the Dark Brotherhood to use these techniques in quests, frequently sneaking up behind the victim. Sooner or later I plan to add some Lockpicking and Pickpocket perks and join the Thieves' Guild. These are my basic aims, but it varies a little. What do you think about this character? Would you do anything different to make a better sneaky thief assassin type? PLG
Miraboreasu
A good build I'm working on centralizes around Archery. I'm playing on Master, and never going down on difficulty, so everything that's not worth having will be left out. Generally, the archery skills are all very nice, but pumping points into One-Handed (Just the + 100% dmg and mace skills, maybe charge) and Block are also important. Block affects bow's bash attacks, and having a backup mace/shield is a nice way to play against opponents too heavily armored to snipe. Other than that, go really heavy into Alchemy, smithing, and enchantment to balance out your character's lack of defense with a high DPS. If you don't want to do heavy enchantment crap, I'd recommend heading down the Illusion skill tree. Frenzy's where it's at. bloodshade
Maybe put more stamina, and less magic, unless you will be using magic more.
