elvinkun
is it possible to revert back to 1.1 or we're basically dead in the water for now?I have found this My link But people seem to be divided between "magical fix" and "Totally broke it", haven't tested it out myself yet, so try or don't at your own (potential) peril. NordGod
Seriously, is this going to be fixed? My game does not run at all after the patch, or well, the main menu never shows up when I start up the game.
ottomoebill
I'm curious... since the patch has anybody gotten a non-quest dragon to actually attack? The best I can get now is they circle able 8 times... maybe blast one sheet of fire or ice without landing and then fly away... I have like 24 extra dragon souls un-used on this save so it doesn't break the game for me so much but killing dragons was one of my favorite pastimes :-\

Sometimes the also die for no reason while doing that. It's really pretty ridiculous if it was happening to someone else and I could just watch  Looks to me it doesn't affect any named and Ancient dragons tho. ...Wait, now I made myself depressed. Beriallord
Oh wow, I'm glad I didn't update. Its possible to uninstall the patch if you reinstall the game, then get the 1.1 patch again.
igorgitirana
Sorry for my English, but this is not my language ... Anyone ever wondered if the problem of bugs in the game are caused by the compression? For example, the bug on the quest cornered rat is easily solved using the BSA unpacker: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/60983763 Bsa unpacker: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3117 I think that Bethesda uses an uncompressed skyrim in their tests... elvinkun
Seriously, man gotta be pissed seeing how they do not respond on issues or CK questions at all, but then go around posting "Vote for Skyrim at..." I think that's called "last nail to the coffin"
Pixelfrog1
@DanI actually think the patch removed elemental resistances, broken bookshelves, low-ressed textures, made dragons fly backwards for everyone, the optional is CTD, performance and unresponsive keyboard, unresposnive mouse, mouse stutter... Well, you get the picture  Nope dragons still fly forwards for me, all my textures are fine any my HD ones are still HD, Even my book shelfs work, key board an mouse are also fine. I dont know why this patch has affected some and not others but the only thing I had to disable was script dragon, all my other mods work fine. Eyrika
That picture is freakin hilarious. As for the bugs, it's weird... people are reporting all sorts of weird things, but then my boyfriend patches, and it didn't seem to break anything for him (he DID have to do the verify file integrity thing though). There could be some sort of outside influences messing things up... I don't know :( I'm sorry this is happening to people... I've had my steam in offline mode since I installed this to avoid patches :P
elvinkun
@Pix & Eyr It's true that half of the bugs can be removed my resetting all your settings and deleting all inis - Altho most of the people get the reverse-dragons, there are even articles about it poping up all over the net-magazines. Maybe you justneed to play longer, for me it seems that only random-encounter dragons do that, and then only certain types. The book-bug seem to affect shelves which were not empty, but not full either, just few books, the textures seem to be affecting random people, but for me, road textures turned to extreme low-ress and don't change no matter what setting I have. The mouse... It's again a bit random, some people had trouble from the start, and this patch fixed it, some people were ok, and now they got slug... i'm the first case here. So it actually fixed one thing for me. But the elemental resists, I think that also affects everyone, it's a faulty part of the patch... You can test that - Fire atronach should rsist any fire spell you throw at them - well, surprise, surprise. And for me, the finishing blow is no resposnses on anything, just posting "Vote Skyrim for best game evar yay!" into all the havoc on their forum. Makes me sad panda, really. Edit: And also while browsing their forums, I noticed that they in fact care and watch them... So many non-vulgar threads being deleted... Way to go, yay.
