Post Civil War

Right I've finished the Civil War Quest line (Stormcloak) and was told to go out and hunt Imperials in their camps. I do so but I always find the Legate at the camp is unkillable making the whole excercise pointless!

 

Is this right or is my game bugged?

Try to get the Legate ID, type on console "help legate 0" and Page UP, Page DOWN to scroll through the console to get the right legate code, or just get all legate codes or research on wiki.

If you got only 1 code, just type "setessential <legate ID> 0" if you got multiples, quicksave and quit the game, after that go to your Skyrim data folder and create a notepad file and type "setessential <legate ID> 0" and do it with all the Legate IDs, after that save with a name you can remember like, killlegate, then start skyrim and once in-game, type in your console bat <name of your notepad file> for instance "bat killlegate"

Heh.. and for those of us who try to avoid all console use because we are weak and if allowing ourselves to use the console even for 'fixes' would degenerate into a non-ending slew of 'additem' and 'setav' cheats?

 

 

But thanks for the fix. (Now if only i could eliminate both sides of the conflict aka fallouts 3 and nv)
