Adrius2 Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 I had this half a page reply on why I don't consider Skyrim dumbed down at all and how Beth simply got rid of boring elements that did not introduce interesting gameplay mechanics and ehh... realized this has been discussed to death. Sindrie Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 It's not just how well the game looks but also how well it runs looka dragon age... that game sucked ass on xbox (thats what I played it on) it could not handle that game, if you played more than 2 hours you would get horrible lags like combate would take 5 minutes to end I remember I decaped some one and then was able to talk the them after words it awsome. plus they had to put less but stronger enemies in levels, which I hate! which kinda dissapointed me in skyrim at max I fight a whole 3 badits at a time I want like 10 weak ones that would feel epic. cant w8 for cs (Jan). I have yet to have a single problem with DA2, and i was playing it for 6 odd hours at a time... I guess I can sum it up with saying... numbers don't turn me on. For every one person who isn't all that interested in the numbers, there's a large amount who are. It is the reason the majority really grew to enjoy TES games in the first place. The ability to make such a unique character with so many options was a unique feature that really made the game stand out. It's not that not having these things makes it a bad game. It's that the expectation is already there because that's what we really liked in the previous games of the series and the latest game simply falls short of that expectation. Again, it doesn't make it a bad game, it just dissapoints those who were expecting the depth of character creation/building that was there before. One - PS3 graphics card (RSX) is modified nvidia 7800 with 256 ddr3 VRAM... so, yeah, of course it's so much superior than computer ( it is sarcasm) Two - Cell is not as powerful as Sony wants you to believe. It wasn't then it isn't now. All this "ps3 superiority" crap is thanks to ps3 exclusives' game designers. Three - consoles are what? Six years old now? Their hardware is completely outdated. domm5078 Posted December 4, 2011 Share Posted December 4, 2011 ^what? Starting a console war is unwise. My PS3 runs this game horribly. My friends xbox360 also runs this game horribly. My OK laptop runs this game OK. My PC runs this game incredibly. Before getting my new PC 3 days ago I played this game on PS3 and xbox 360 before amazingly being able to play it on my laptop (Intel HD graphics 3000 - you never fail to surprise me). The loading times on the consoles make this game incredibly irritating - this game is too good and shouldn't have been released for consoles. I thought I'd post in the non-sensical ranting style of all previous posts in this thread. its not a consol war cuz ps3 won the day it was released. xbox fan boys can say what they want but until they get free online/blu ray 1080p graphics in game, they have nothing to talk about. they pay to play online the same games i can for free, cept i also can play it in 1080, vs they can only play it in 720. @o they are paying to play the same games online with worse graphics. its like saying diablo3 is free to play but diablo1 requires subsription... free f***in simple to decide the winner... i wont even get into the 10's of millions of red ring xboxs cuz its not needed in the argument cuz ps3 already won at release.blueray player you say?http://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/lg-sues-sony-of-playstation-3-blu-ray-drive/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
