    • It makes them feel unsafe/uncomfortable

"Why can't we just live and let live?" Because then the world would be dull, boring and indifferent and who wants that? Yes i suppose some ppl even I liked the idea of "perfect harmony" but ppl like to think they're right and your wrong, its our greatest strength in ruining mankind! :D But anyway like the guy above (or above above) said people are as some say it "brain-washed" at an early age and form some prejudice, etc. Its pointless and impossible to put your opinion to somebody elses. (like so many ppl has said)

 

I'm thinkin' we could all use a bit of dull and boring at this point. :D

 

That said, why can't we all just get along? Human Nature. Some folks want to control others. They have a name for them: Politicians.

old, but still kicking, instincts that ensure fertile lands, good hunting grounds, abundant resources.

 

this is what people always cry about

"theyre coming to take our jawbs" = "theyre coming to take our resources"

I also think that it's just the nature of people to try imposing their opinions on others. However that is no excuse for being vocally rude and condescending about it.

 

People need to be taught that while it is natural to dislike things that others may like, there must be a limit to your expression of it, especially when it is something that does not harm anyone or affects the person's functionality. Governments, educational institutions and families need to put in extra effort to inculcating this to youth while they are still more impressionable.

 

This won't solve all the world's problems, but it will make society function more harmoniously.
