lacrosseplayer519
Oh... It was manually installed. Yeah that has to be manually removed. You can do this two ways reinstall fallout NV.1) uninstall via Steam2) delete nv steam folder3) reinstall game4) run game5) exit and start modding again. Or if you're willing to wait till about 9am pst tomorrow i can help remove the mod without the need to uninstall the game.Sure, I have no problem waiting until then. lacrosseplayer519
I tried that and the problem still persisted so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. That didn't work either. Got any other ideas?
DoctorKaizeld
when you uninstalled did you delete the Steam game folder (the folder that the game is installed to) before reinstalling? also did you start that game before modding?

dubiousintent
When you re-install, be sure to delete both the INI files in the "C:\Users\<YourAccountName>\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV" folder, and let the game rebuild them. You can leave your save game files, but really you are better off starting over if you have to re-install. Also, do not install to the default Steam folder under "C:\Program Files" tree. See the article "Installing Games on Windows Vista+" in my signature, which explains why this is a bad idea and how to move them. Finally, as you are re-installing: suggest you read the wiki article "FNV General Mod Use Advice" to avoid some common mistakes people make when starting out with FNV. -Dubious-

dubiousintent
If you installed to the default "C:\Program Files" tree, then "yes". As much as a pain as that is, it solves many other issues down the road. If you are only thinking of doing so because of the INI files, then "no". You can get rid of them any time and the game will rebuild them when it starts up from the vanilla launcher when you get to the Main Menu. -Dubious- Edited September 10, 2016 by dubiousintent
