Invisible Gloves Mod (cloth/heavy/light)

I long long time ago I found an invisible glove item mod for Oblivion but I cannot for the life of me find it again. How hard would it be to create a mod like this? I will do it myself but I don't know where to start exactly, it needs to fit HGEC (I guess).

I just need a simple mod that adds an invisible hand slot item for cloth/heavy/light armor. So it can be used with other armors like dresses and such without covering up the hands, you know?

If anyone could do this it would be greatly appreciated, or perhaps point me in the direction of a mod that already exists that covers this. Thanks!

It is easy.

If you like to try it yourself:

Copy the hand.nif and femalehand.nif from meshes/characters/_male and rename the copies to gautlets.nif

Then copy all gautlets.nif of females into the folders in meshes/armor for example, one into: meshes/armor/iron/f and so on.

All male gauntlets would go into the "m" folders, like: meshes/armor/iron/m

You might have to create all the folders first, if you don't have them.

What is the exact purpose of having the gloves "not" display? If it's only about the effects, armor rating, enchantments, or the like, you can simply make them cover "no" slot in the CS as well, and they'll never be rendered or take anything else's place.

As a direct drawback of not covering any slots it does, however, also not restrict you from wearing multiple instances of it at once, so effects can be added up into the heavens, if abused too much.

Basically, its just for appearance. Like in MMO's where you have invisible appearance armor that can be enchanted and has armor rating (light/heavy), etc, but has no visible appearance. So you can wear them with robes/dresses and not have your character look goofy. There use to be a mod that added three sets of invisible gloves/gauntlets (one light, one heavy, and one cloth set), but I cannot find it anymore.

I cannot remember if the armor skills in oblivion are like Skyrim (with the set bonuses for wearing multiple pieces of the same armor) but invisible gloves/gauntlets would be better for this than say, an item covering "no-slot". So it would have to be/have an armor/hand slot but have an invisible nif, I think. Because if you don't put some kind of nif in the box then the hands with be invisible. I would attempt it myself but I think it requires opening stuff in nifscope, which I am not very skilled at.
