stoaty6666
hi having a great time with this awesome game one question, is it a good idea to stop at a certain level of the main storyline and just go and find new locations,I would hate to finish the game and have a lot of side quests outstanding.thanks for your time
msyoung
You can do quests in any order, stopping and starting at will. Just a couple things to be aware of. The main quests will wait for you (in fact, all quests will do that) and not be aware that several days may have passed, they will take off exactly where you left them. When you complete the game you can continue to play but some quests will disappear. So do as many side quests as you want before starting the end games quests. The other thing is that if a quest is too far below your level when you start it, your experience will be very small. For example, if you get a quest when you are level 20 and do it then, completing the quest could give you many hundreds of experience points. But if you go back to it when you are a level 30, you will probably only get one point. This comment also applies to main game quests. My understanding is that the quest level should be within five levels of your character for maximum reward. Personally, I like to do the Treasure Hunts because this gives you access to Witcher gear. BTW, completing the main game will have no effect on the two expansions. They will play the same whether you have finished the main game or not.
