ComicKaze
I am already over 100 hours into the game, however I realize that I have made a major mistake in setting my major and minor skills. Is there anyway for me to swap two skills between major and minor this far in and retain the stats? I realized that I didn't play with heavy armor/combat as I imagined and the nature of the game makes me much more of a speedy/stealth guy so I would very much love to change my major skill of heavy armor to a major skill of light armor. Is this possible? Perhaps through the console? Thanks.
Storm Raven
ComicKaze, I don't know, but I been told, this idea, heads down a bad road. I've seen warnings from Bethsoft and plenty of posters that this leads to much more trouble than its worth. Honestly, I couldn't tell you how many times I have had to start over. Got better at it and had more fun each time though. Mods change and get better, I learn a little more in the construction set about how to get away with all kinds of stuff. So each time its a new game Happy Hunting, Stormraven
Vagrant0
It can be done, showclassmenu, but doing so will reset you back to level 1 with all the basic stats. You can solve this by writing down all your stats somewhere, and then changing each individual one in console, but this can take a good deal of time. The better solution is to just go ignore what your major skills are, and just raise your light armor up. Having it as a major skill only means that it counts toward leveling, it doesn't improve overall effectiveness. 30 points in a skill will provide the same benefit if it's a major skill, or a minor skill. The only difference is what the initial value of that skill was (major skills start off higher). You can still gain levels from heavy armor, while wearing ligher stuff, without the speed decrease by using a heavy shield. Or you could just make it a point to ocasionally put on a suit of heavy armor and let some rats beat on you any time you feel like using it to level up.
