DiaborMagics
Hello guys, I'm looking for a mod that reduces (or allows me to reduce) the frequency that it snows or rains and reduces how often it is foggy outside. Reason: I love how my game looks when it's sunny - and my ENB setting tweaks have made it darker during the night... and also when bad weather comes of the land. It's almost pitch-black every time even at 1pm and at similar moments of the day. You already get the catch: I run an ENB. And also Supreme and Volumetric Fog (when it is foggy, I want it to look good), Supreme Storms (same good-looking reason), Immersive Thunder (good-sounding reason) and Wonders of Weather (both good-looking and good-sounding reason). I obviously need to find a mod that allows me to tweak the frequency, without messing up these mods and the Classic version of Sharpshooters, which is pretty old, but the best version of it in my opinion and the very best ENB I have ever seen still. Does anyone know of a mod that does this? When looking around I come across full weather overhauls, lighting overhauls and other ENBs and I'm pretty sure most of them, if not all of them, will cause problems with the mods/ENB mentioned above. Thanks in advance if you can help me find this one! - DiaborMagics
BlackRoseOfThorns
NLVA Enb for Vivid Weathers has a Heavenly Weathers plugin. I use it together with Rudy Enb NLVA and Wonders of Weather. If you want something more simple, you have to find a mod that edits vanilla types of weathers in each region. It will be compatible with Enbs designed for vanilla weathers. You might be able to figure out how to do this kind of mod yourself by looking up Expanded Skyrim Weather in CK or TES5Edit. Here's Skyrim Weather ID list:-Link-

I think I will contact Sharpshooter8 to ask him if Sharpshooters Classic version does anything with weather, to be sure. I don't want to switch ENB though, would the Heavenly Weathers plugin work without its original ENB, but with sharpshooters, if indeed the vanilla weathers are the only ones in the game? BlackRoseOfThorns
Thanks, this should at least get me started. I don't want to switch ENB though, would the Heavenly Weathers plugin work without its original ENB, but with sharpshooters, if indeed the vanilla weathers are the only ones in the game? ENBs which have unique settings for each weather, won't recognize new weathers and will produce weird colors. On some occasions the ENB will be bundled with it's own weather.esp - also incompatible with other weather mods. I believe Heavenly Weather has the same entries as Vivid Weathers and cannot be used as standalone module. How to do DIY FIX / MERGE:Make a copy of your current Enb and tweaks, so you can revert changes in case you didn't like the outcome. install VW (everything except patches and main .esp) + HW from NLVA Enb site. Then copy weather list from NLVA Enb into your enbseries folder. This worked for me for couple of Enbs. Sometimes it requires adjusting ambient lightning level, to make it look proper. Just remember that VW adds new weathers with more colorful lightning (sunrises/sunsets) and might make your game look totaly different. PS: Weather list from Rudy ENB NLVA will also work and might be closer to sharpshooters style. Okay, thanks for explaining the process. Just for clarification: I back up Sharpshooters (done) and I do everything you said, with Sharpshooters still installed. I don't remove it? Because installing a new enb usually comes with its own enblocal.ini, its own d3d9 dll (from the top of my head its called d3d9), etc. Should I copy and replace VW's things into my Skyrim folder? Because you said everything except the esp, etc
