iXenite
Texture mods should always be safe to install at any point during a playthrough. They just replace textures, there really is very little that could possibly go wrong. As for the wood textures, the ones that have impressed me the most recently was Noble Skyrim, but I think I read that you're already using that. Luka25565
Yeah i have it but it doesnt replace all like the SFO trees and he bridge in riverwood (i think it doesnt) and MAYBE all other wood stumps and big logs in the mill and also not all plank like wood on the houses (i think it doesnt correct me if im wrong)
iXenite
Noble Skyrim's own recommended mods seem to suggest the Mod Author favors other texture mods to handle things like trees and stuff, so consider giving that a look through. It should handle the wood planks for boardwalks and homes though, at least from what I have seen.
Luka25565
Ok i just dont remember what was one mod called it was 2k trees with parallax. If not that one i dont know which one. If there is one it would be better if its compatible with SFO.

Project579
Yes use merge plugins standalone: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905/? WATCH the tutorials they will tell you the rules to make a good merge. Edited September 13, 2016 by Project579
Luka25565
How intensive are texture mods on your vram? i just like to know
Project579
Depends on how many different textures are on screen at once and the resolution of them but they are the biggest chunk inside the vram lets say a 80% (it depends on the res of them) of the vram is textures. Luka25565
I have almost all the ones he said on the list without the grass. I use 1k if possible but if not i use 2k. When i google my graphics card it says i have 1gb of vram (amd wtf?) but enblocal.ini says i have 3048 mb so i guess that's 3gb. Which one do i trust. Oh btw It looks different on google and irl it has a lady on it. EDIT: Why merge plugins Building merge: SMIM MergedMaximum load order reached!
