Skyrim crash due to a missing NiNode

I believe your crash is actually documented - during the installation of XPMSE there is an option to install a draugr skeleton that supposed to fix this particular crash.

I don't have the Book of UUNP Iron and Steel and I just encountered the same crash message. Mine happened while on the quest The Wolf Queen Awakened (potema's second quest; talk to Styrr, etc. etc.). I CTD'd 3 times while going through the catacombs; the last time was in the room with the spinning light and room full of undead. I don't believe it's the Book of UUNP because I don't have that installed, and there is a bug associated with the Wolf Queen Awakened: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim_talk:The_Wolf_Queen_Awakened (crash to desktop bug) (for those that have it happen during this quest line). Something to do with clothing (which I don't have in my mesh clothing folder) on Potema.

I haven't had that crash since I uninstalled the book of UUNP Iron and steel, so it worked for me. Not sure what else could cause it (except corrupted nif. files durr)

I used it, and it works. You kind of have to know what files you want to heal, though.

I am having the exact same crash.The Crash started when i was near the toll road area (where a waterfall is) i was messing with a bandit chief bodie and tried to throw it down the waterfall. when i fell to the bottom i encountered a troll so i decided to attack it and this where the crashing happened. one swing and it froze and then crash fixes gave me the message. i still have no idea how to fix this.i did encounter this error before heading to bleak falls sanctum.but i still have no idea how to fix it.

having the same issue but i have xp32 extended latest release and have only encountered the crash in one location Ansilvund. specfically only when i try to enter the burial chambers

I just had this problem, like you I tried just about everything. I even loaded a save from right at the beginniing of my playthrough. This too had the problem. I realised that it must be one of the very early skeleton overwrites that was putting extra nodes in. Even reinstalling XP32 skeleton again was not helping.

 

I eventually reinstalled realistic rag dolls and force which overwrite xp32 and that fixed the problem. Obviously something I had installed recently had overwritten the skeleton with the extra node installed by that mod.

 

I had already uninstalled the new modes and reverted back through the saves by this point.

I am having the same problem with a new game start no mods and all i have installed is the crash fix mod to give me the message every thing is fine until the guard tells us to shut up

Hello,

I had the same problem. I solved it by disabling my mods, one by one from newest to oldest. I did that until I found the one causing the issue and i got rid of it.
