Skyrim - Mod Detectives Thread

Vignar Gray-Mane is a Nord and Stormcloak loyalist, but he has very dark skin, which makes him look like a redguard. Is there a mod that gives him a lighter skin color?

PS: I found one called "Better Vignar", but that one also makes him look 30 years younger, which doesn't fit his voice and background/lore.

That's VERY easy to do with the CK.

Is there a mod to add certain things from Dragonborn in to the main Skyrim area? Like the Bound Dagger spell tome?

Hi there! For as long as I can remember I've been able to look through the boards in the roof of Breezehome and see the sky outside but recently I've been upgrading my textures and upon returning to the house I can no longer see through to the sky. Was this a vanilla thing or has another mod given me this view of the sky? I don't think it's down to immersive interiors as I installed and then removed that mod from my save by reverting to an earlier save. Like most people I've been through quite a few texture packs so any help is really appreciate. Thanks!

That's why I'm here. I have a few mods installed, but it's happened before I installed them too.

 

 

 

I think that's just one of those hard-coded game bugs that a mod can't fix.

Has anyone been able to find a mod that allows me to read a book in real time, or a mod that stops the game pausing when you're looking through your inventory. I've already seen the Real-Time Reading mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17559/?), which is a step in the right direction, but not really what I'm looking for. Ideally I want something that will allow me to read a book to pass the time, either when I'm camped out in the rain, or riding a carriage to my next destination. Something that just allowed time to carry on as natural when reading or in my inventory screen would probably be perfect.

Long ago I saw a mod that decreases the cooldown of the shouts , each time you used it you get more knowledge and making it more powerfull

I am looking for a mod that makes rain, snow and ash act like actual particles, so they won't fall through roofs and other things. Is there something like that?

I am trying to find light armor that has the benifet of dragon light armor but looks more Knightly or rangerish.
