Kethruch
My german is pretty bad, but I think he actually said: He thanks you from his heart. He has waited so long, that he can now drink his champagne he had for the new year. The people here must be patient/calm with me. I was puzzled by the response. Many thanks. how close was I Hayabusa? BTW - the trial version of the program has some problems as far as working with it for mods - you can't export any of the models that you create with it. That's why it's a good learning tool to figure out how to use the program, but no substitute for the program itself. If you really want to get into it, try hooking up with someone in the graphic design industry in your area who may be willing to teach how to use it. You might be able to use their copy of it while he is training you, and if you can get into the industry, you will probably get the program through your work. Hayabusa
Quite close, I have to admit it :) huh, the problem is, there`s noone with 3dMax that I could reach :( sad. The problem is if I just found a converter 3dsmax -> truespace, or blender, or some other program that is quite available... in that case, it could be just matter to export the files into 3dsmax and from that software - to Morrowind. Well I hope at last I find someone who works with 3ds, AND is interested in modding the MOrrowind.or if the software German_man mentioned had such an option to transfer it ti the TESCS.. TheUnforgiven
What I meant by Discreet makes it. Is that the company Discreet makes it. So you know what to search for :P
Hayabusa
well yes. But the price doesn`t make the thing in any way easier. I`ll look more accurately tomorrow, now I`m too tired for it and just active enough to stay in here.
german_man
When you make something with gmax, send it to someone who has 3dsmax so they can convert to .nif Peregraine will do that, at least he does for me. ;) Ask himk though i dont want to offer his services without him knowing. Also, when downloading gmax you shuld get the tutorial to, its an extra 14 megabytes on top of the 19 it takes to download but it is worth it, i could hardly make a circle when i first got it cuz i didnt get the tutorial, know i can make a circle cuz i got the tutorial ;) Can't beat that logic :P

It's possible, though a bit buggy... it adds some odd smoothing and I have no idea if materials will transfer. But you can export from gmax -> quakeIII, then use a free conversion program to go from quakeIII to a format 3dsmax can read. Then have someone like me export to .nif. Peregrine
No, it's a free export plugin for gmax. You just export to the q3 format (from gmax), but you don't need the game for anything. Its just q3 is the only format that gmax can export to that there's a way to import into 3dsmax.
