GoldRecord
I can't seem to decide, I started my character yesterday as a Barbarian, but I'm more interested in the Morag Tong, I always seemed to love Marksman and killing people very fun. I have both expansions, so if you have any advice, please fire away.
Denina
If you're doing Morag Tong, light armor since you will be sneaking a lot. Light armor and sneak are both governed by agility and you will want a lot of that.

Thank you, right now I'm wondering if I should change classes or stay at mine, does it matter if Light Armor is a minor skill? Does that still count as a favored skill for Morag Tong, etc. or are favored skills only for major? Which Light Armor is good for a starter? Denina
Whether major or minor skill those skill increases will count toward leveling up. Barbarians are not really assassin types as subtle, they are not. If you're truly interested in playing Morag Tong, you may want to restart with the pre-made assassin class and try it out. Not saying you couldn't do assassin and Morag Tong as a barbarian but it would be slower going because you would have to increase skills at a slower pace due to some of them not being major or minor. Most of the light armor you can get at lower levels is going to be rather mediocre but you will get better later on. Chitin is better than Netch and chitin is easily available at the earliest levels. Clean out Addamasartus near Seyda Neen and you will probably get a few pieces of it. There's also some Netch Leather shoulders available deep in the cave. Look around there and explore all the way around. It's a neat cave.

GoldRecord
One last question, is presenting a writ considered a job badly done? Thank you very much.
Denina
One last question, is presenting a writ considered a job badly done? Thank you very much. No, not at all. The writ keeps you from having to pay the bounty when a guard stops you after you've committed your assassination. Read the description of what the Morag Tong is - it's a legal and honorable guild of assassins that only take legal writs of execution. They have a strict moral code about the whole thing. That writ is what separates you from being just another thug.

HyBlood
Well, according to my humble opinion, no matter what class and race you choose in Morrowind, they'll be suit for everything (in time). For examples, a Breton will be as strong as a Nord at certain levels, you can play as a warrior and ended up become a Grandmaster of Morag Tong or Master Thief of the Guild of Thieves, you can play as the assassin or thief but ended up as a Knight of the Imperial Dragon of Imperial Legion and Grandmaster of the Guild of Fighters, etc. The same goes with the armor of your choice. You can do sneak while wearing heavy armor as good as while wearing light armor. The key is just the skills. I always train to level up my skills faster, so I don't really need to pay attention whether they're major, minor, or miscellaneous. So if I were you, I'll not dumped my old character just like that when things still can be fixed. As for me, a Breton with Assassin class will do for everything
