So The idea is a katana like sword that is made with dragon materials, that absorbs dragon souls. http://i.imgur.com/gLciC.jpg Ok so the way to acquire the sword is by quest. To start the quest you must be a master in blacksmithing. A non-vanilla npc will send you a letter telling you to meet him at the sky forge, he will then tell you about a legendary sword that was lost by the last dragonborn dragon slayer who now resides in Sovngarde. You return there and find him in the main hall. You ask the guy about the sword and he tells you that he lost it in a dragon's cave and how he lost it , and places a maker on your map you go to the cave to find that it is inhabited by necromancers trying to raise the dragon back to life, after they have given there lives you must kill the dragon. After you have killed it you search the contents of it body and only find the dragon symboled center piece not the whole sword. You go back to Sovngarde and show the dragon slayer what you found. he tells you what you need to rebuild it and its abilities (listed below) and that it can only be rebuilt at the sky forge. Items needed to rebuild:2 Dragon bones2 empty Grand soul gems leather strips1 Quick Silver ingot1 ebony ingot Abilities and StatsCan absorb up to 3 dragon soulsEach soul adds 5, 10, and 15 Damage to base damage, 25%, 50%, and 75% extra damage to Dragons, and 5, 10, and 15 Flame damage Base Stats: 30 Damage; Weight: 15; Value: 28000 THIS IS A REPOST, BUT THE ORIGINAL POST WAS TO VAGUE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

yuikhee Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Storyline and the idea sounds great. Couple things off my head.. It would be nice if u can make it so that u have to kill more dragons. Killing 3 dragons is too easy unless they are elder dragons. I would love to see it in one handed as well as two handed. That's it. Thanks. PaladinRider Posted December 25, 2011 Share Posted December 25, 2011 In my opinion you're going to have a tough time finding someone to do this for you.. Regardless of the idea, modders do this for free and they will check the requests board for inspiration or an idea - most already have their own plans. If you have the persistence, it really won't take a long time to learn and do it yourself - and you have the pride and real reward. It doesn't work as well as having modders sign up and wait on hand asking you how you want your steak cooked. A very rough sketch like that and, forgive me if I insult you, but a demand as to how the weapon should be acquired. It sounds like you already have this mostly thought out, and if you want it to happen your best bet is to do it yourself. It's a steep learning curve, but a rewarding one at that. In other words, there's a small chance that a modeller/texturer may make your sword for you but it won't be how you pictured it. There's an even less chance that they'll make the sword acquirable via a quest. There's virtually zero chance that they'll make it acquirable through the quest you've detailed. But If my comp would run my programing and Graphic Designer like my old pc then i would only need min help.I would probably do it my self if i had the right equipment to run the programs i need.
