iXenite
There is no way you can actually go above the limit, at least as far as I'm aware. You can perhaps merge the mods though. You would need to use this tool though. It's a Skyrim tool, but it is supposed to work with Fallout 4. You could probably look up stuff about how that is supposed to work on your own. damanding
If you google "merge plugins fallout 4" there are a number of tutorials on this. General rule of thumb though it's best to only merge simple mods. Also people tend to merge mods by general category such as bug fixes or retextures or something like that. If the mod involves more complex features like quests or scripting, probably best to leave it standalone.

SirTwist
Actually the 255 number is for .esm's and .esp's. You can go over the 255 limit with meshes and textures. However, I do recommend running less than that, and learning how to merge mods is a good idea. The method I use is an old one, but works well. Go to youtube and look up Dirty Weasel Media, his channel has a tutorial on how to merge mods. Watch the one with the TES5Edit, or FO4Edit, plugin, rather than the standalone one. That is how I merge my Fallout 4 mods.

eldiabs
Deep copy as override doesn't always work depending on how the mod or mods are structured. Especially mods that add new records. Just something to keep in mind.
