((Need Help)) **Weird Unidentifiable Technical Error**

So for some odd reason, this weird thing happens where my Skyrim freezes up, then a white fog fills up the entire screen (Like that on the menus, but it just keeps spreading.) and once it does, the color game goes into negative color values, and then it starts to go grey. Black bars sometimes appear along with this. And when it happens, my entire PC freezes and I have to force-power it off.

I've never seen anything like this, I can't find any help online. I think it might be my graphics card. Maybe it graphics memory related.

that's a graphics card issue ive had something like that happen aswell. try looking up your graphics card specs and finding out its specs and download techpowerup gpu-z. theres an option to record your gpu temps etc to a file on notepad. if your gpu is overheating then that's the cause.in my case all I had to do was pull mine out and dust it with can air and it was as good as new.

hope this helps

ok you need this program techpowerup gpu-z it can tell you if your card is running hot with what you described it sounds like its running hot because when it goes over its maximum temps it will lock up like your describing I honestly think that's the problem and if it is it could be something as simple as dust buildup or a fan not working etc

Thank you, I'll try that out.
