The neck seamline - HELP!

No matter how hard I try, I cannot remove the ugly neck seamline that seperates the neck and the body on my characters. I sat whole last evening trying to fix this but no matter what textures I use, it will not disappear. I'm at my wits end, please, HELP!

Hi NocturneNight,

I think there is a little Photosop in the Pic, but for better results than yours take a look at Luchaires HGEC Body Seam Reducer

Have fun

Harvald

Alright, thanks, will check it out as soon as I can and then post back the results!

Alright, yep, it works well enough. However the Body Seam Reducer uses the standard, non-oiled textures - I was hoping for an oiled version. Also, there is no standard "elf textures", I used the imperial textures though and it seemed to work fine.

By replacing the elffemale(bodypart).dds with the human textures from Body Seam Reducer, I can get a neat, almost seamless look for my Lineage 2 Elf. However, I am wondering if there is a way to also add the oily skin, tattoos and preferably a tanline.

Here's a video of a model that seriously confuses me.

It is a Moonshadow Elf, but she also has perfect, oiled and tanned skin, alongwith tattoos. Is this a custom-made model? Does anyone have any idea of how you'd proceed to try to create something like this?

Anyways, thank you very much for showing me to the Body Seam Reducer! :)

EDIT

Hang on, hang on! Here's something! http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23658 I'll be off testing this for a few hours :)

Hmm, nope, it does not work the way I want it. :P I want to have both tanlines and tattoo, but the files replace eachother... Best I can get is an oiled effect and one of either. I was trying to find out how to open up the .dds files in Photoshop to merge them togheter with different layers, but, the converter utility linked on CESwiki crashes everytime I try to convert, and, the nvidia tools do not work for me for some reason.

Does WryeBash allow you to import textures and then merge them togheter? So that you can get, for example, the tanline texture and a tattoo texture on the same mesh?

Yes, I have searched for tanlines, the most promiment one seems to be: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23658

Indeed, I can run this and at the same have the oiled effect from Ozmo's. Problem is I'd also like to have a tattoo or two, and to add those I need to edit the other map which then removes the tanlines. See the video I posted for and idea of what I'm looking for - Basically I'd need a skin texture with both tanlines AND a tattoo and then use ozmo's highrez for the normal map. Mr Flinging Feces' skin texture seem to only be available for chocolate elves atm. (?)

Apologies for late reply, new WoW arena season, quite busy. :P
