But then I paid attention to what the npcs were saying (I usually try to ignore them.) while playing Skyrim and noticed every other ex-warrior or ex-soldier talked about taking an arrow to the knee, etc...Ohhhh, now I get it. The guards you mean? One says, "I used to adventure with an archer, then I took a knee to the arrow." I was going to post "arrow in the knee" jokes on the Bethsoft forums, but then I remembered their sense of humor took an arrow to the knee years ago...
