Sheogorath2010
Just wondering if its possible to use the console command 'additem' to get the items included in any mod. I know you need a code for the additem command, and i want to know if there is a way to find out the code, if there even is one.
wizardmirth
You would have to have the mod loaded in the construction set. Find the mod item with * next to it, copy the editor IDs, just don't make any changes and don't save anything.

Any mod which is loaded in the CS which doesn't have additional masters gets loaded in the 01****** slot. So unless the mod you're trying to do this with is your first loaded mod, or you have no other mods, what you see in the CS may actually do more harm to your game than good. You do need the ID numbers of the item (the last 6 digits of the form ID) but you also need to know the load slot that that mod uses. Changing mod load orders to add an item can be a VERY, VERY, very bad idea. On that note, the process for obtaining the full ID of what you want has been explained countless times on these forums so you should do a search for it. It is however much easier to just open up the mod you want the item from in the CS and just place the items you want in the world somewhere, save the mod, and then put it back in its previous loading order. Except in some cases where those items are used by a quest, or contain special scripting, there shouldn't be any issues.

If I just want IDs I can get them easily this way. Placing references to the objects in the worldspace or any other editing will require a combined or saved plugin file chosen though (set as active). I definitely don't recommend changing any load orders though. If need be you can just keep a safe copy of the original mod somewhere and change/save your own personal version of it.
