cdo947214
So I created a mod for Fallout 4, and all the voice files were working fine as .wav. I then converted them to .ogg and deleted the .wavs. Now they won't play in game. Tell me I don't have to re-record all the lines.
cdo947214
I'll just extract them back to .wav with Audacity. I guess .ogg doesn't work in FO4.
Zaldir
Just a word of advice: when working on anything at all, never delete the source material. Back it up somewhere.
cdo947214
Thanks. I just learned that the hard way. :)
AGreatWeight
.ogg isn't a format that Fallout4 can use. You have two choices - you can either attempt to recover the deleted files by using file-recovery software (such as undelete 360, although the chances of success diminish if you've added/created new files on the drive that the files you want to recover were stored) or you could convert them to .fuz, as .wav is a lossless format (which means larger file sizes)
